Quality not quantity

Quality not quantity

In a world where you have 600 friends on facebook but only 6 you really want to spend time with, it’s clearer than ever that a healthy soul requires quality, not quantity.

Life seems to have become increasingly faster, everything is instant; food, messages, everything. We want to do more in a shorter period of time, but that usually results in lower quality products of our time, which is essentially just a waste.

Rather take your time doing something in more time, but with better results.

Many frustrations come from constantly being on the go, and when you then take a break, it feels unnatural, which is the worst. We need to rest and just take a break every now and again, and there is no shame in that. I find that I’m less frustrated, less likely to freak out or become impatient and overall happier when I ensure I have ample time for myself and the things I love doing. Whether it’s cooking a fantastic meal from scratch, reading a book, or travelling to a wine estate with friends. I need those breaks to be able to be a nice person all around. And in the end, that’s the main goal right? Be happy with yourself and spread happiness to other.

Real happiness, not instant joy, but quality happiness.
