I recently completed the 100 Happy Days Challenge and it actually inspired me to write this blog series on The ABC of Self-improvement. The challenge was to post a picture on social media about something that made you happy for 100 consecutive days. It did present it’s challenges, but I got to know myself a lot better and realised that it’s going to take more than 100 happy pictures to be a better person.
Happiness is a choice. You can decide if you want to complain that the dog barked you awake half an hour before your alarm would go off, or you could get up and spend time with that little creature that loves you so much. Chances are you’ll make his day and your inner tail would also be wagging.
Don’t let your happiness depend on other people. Your happiness is your responsibility and once you take it into your own hands, you’ll realise how incredibly precious it is, yet easy to attain. Keep holding that happiness close, but remember to share some of it with others as well.
